Featured along with a stunning official video, Trevor Daniel releases his new single “Alone“
Trevor says, “The original song by Alice DJ was a song that I’ve listened to nonstop since elementary school. On the way to a studio session, I was listening to the song and got inspired to do an interpretation of it because of the feelings I was going through from a breakup at the time.”
“Alone” which interpolates the Alice DJ smash “Better Off Alone” follows Trevor’s most recent release “Fingers Crossed” with Julia Michaels which was released to much celebration earlier this year.
Originally from Houston, TX, (now based in LA) Trevor became an artist to watch with the success of his melancholic trap-infused single “Falling” — which after a second boost on Tik Tok, peaked at #25 on the Hot 100 charts and in the Top 20 in over 40 countries becoming a Global artist almost overnight.
Trevor has announced his new EP That Was Then will be released this November. About That Was Then, Trevor says, “This project is essentially a bunch of things made throughout quarantine, inspired by the random points and emotions of where my head was throughout the year in comparison to where I’m at now….THAT WAS THEN”.
