Amber Mark’s “Sink In,” a blend of jazz and Jersey club, gives fans a taste of her new EP, with layers of after-hours allure.

Amber Mark returns with “Sink In,” a new single written, produced, and performed by Mark herself, blending jazz, Jersey club beats, and sultry energy. This track, part of her upcoming EP under PMR / Interscope Records, is a richly textured preview of her evolving sound.

Mark shared her creative process on Instagram, showing fans a behind-the-scenes look at her studio setup and her cat Moosh, whose purrs were recorded and mixed into the track. This EP comes as a “thank you” to fans waiting for her next album, offering a “loose, sweaty, and a little dance-floor” vibe.

The song opens on a smooth jazz riff and Mark’s smoky vocals: “I’ve had enough of parking lots and innocence / Relax and let me light you up some incense.” As the bassline intensifies, Mark’s lyrics become increasingly flirtatious. At the line “You could come knock on my door,” an actual knocking sound jumps out, drawing listeners deeper into the track’s sensory experience.

Following tracks like “Won’t Cry” and “Space & Time,” “Sink In” reflects Mark’s versatility and immersive storytelling. As one of music’s most exciting alt-R&B artists, Amber Mark continues to push boundaries, creating work that captivates listeners.
