SOFI TUKKER kicks off 2025 with Sleepyhead 2025, a modern reinterpretation of Passion Pit’s platinum hit. Out now via Animal Talk Records, the track blends their signature dance-infused style with the nostalgic energy of the original.
Tucker Halpern shares his personal connection to the track: “The original ‘Sleepyhead’ was a defining song for me in high school. When I met Michael Angelakos, we talked about how much music has evolved since Manners, and we decided to bring this classic back—but with a modern touch.”
The track has already received major DJ support, with John Summit debuting it during his Tahoe Experts Only set in February. This release also signals the return of SOFI TUKKER’s label, Animal Talk Records, which originally launched in 2018. “We’re bringing the label back in a big way,” Tucker adds. “And what better way to start than with a song that means so much to us?”
With a 2025 Vegas residency at Wynn Nightlife, major festival performances, and more new music on the way, SOFI TUKKER continues to dominate the dance scene.
