XIE Channels Dancefloor Emotion on New EP “Kick Drum Heart,” Out Now via Lady of the House

XIE releases “Kick Drum Heart,” a genre-blurring EP celebrating house music’s emotional core.

XIE, the LA-based DJ, singer, and producer making waves in the dance music scene, has unveiled her new EP Kick Drum Heart, now streaming via Lady of the House. The project fuses tech house, Latin, and UK house influences into a cohesive narrative about healing, community, and joy.

At the core of the project are XIE’s emotional connection to house music and her desire to celebrate the beat that brings people together. “I wanted to creatively paint the picture of how music is such a saving grace in my everyday life,” says XIE. “These songs are about how it feels when you’re in the club and the beat is bumping through your body.”

The EP features previously released singles “LOVE LANGUAGE” and “Siente El Ritmo,” both of which have already signaled her as a forward-thinking presence in electronic music.
