One-night-only film event “Something Beautiful” arrives June 12 in US theaters, June 27 globally. Album out May 30.

Trafalgar Releasing and Sony Music Vision have unveiled a bold new theatrical experience from global pop visionary Miley Cyrus. Something Beautiful, described as a fantasy-fueled pop opera, will screen in theaters for one night only—June 12 across North America and June 27 internationally.

The cinematic release comes hot on the heels of its June 6 world premiere at Tribeca Festival in New York City. Fans eager to attend can secure tickets starting May 22.

Something Beautiful is built around thirteen original songs from Cyrus’ upcoming ninth studio album of the same name, set for release May 30 via Columbia Records. The film and album are executive produced by Cyrus and Grammy-winning producer Shawn Everett.

The film showcases a high-caliber creative team: it’s directed by Miley Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, with cinematography by Benoît Debie. Panos Cosmatos, known for his distinctive visual storytelling in Mandy, serves as a producer alongside XYZ Films. The film is exclusively mixed for theaters by Alan Meyerson, acclaimed for work on Dune Part One and The Dark Knight.

“Something Beautiful is my dream project come true—fashion, film, and original music coexisting in harmony,” says Cyrus. “Each collaborator has used their expertise to make this fantasy a reality.”

Miley Cyrus continues to innovate across creative mediums, and Something Beautiful reflects her evolution into a multimedia artist blending music, visual art, and fashion into a cohesive statement.
