King Cruff shares “BUNCH,” mixing hip-hop bars with dancehall humour—produced by !llmind & Don Mills.

Fast-rising artist King Cruff continues his ascension with “BUNCH”, a bold new single that balances punchy hip-hop with cheeky dancehall charm. Released via Tuff Gong Collective/Universal Music Canada, the track is produced by heavyweight duo !llmind and Don Mills, giving it both industry polish and underground bite.

Inspired by the quick wit of early dancehall, Cruff uses “BUNCH” to flip the script on typical player anthems. “I’m very much in my hip-hop bag on ‘BUNCH,’ but I also wanted to bring a sarcastic sense of humour,” he says. “It’s actually talking about being faithful… ‘Stand at attention when I stand up for my queen.’”

The track follows his genre-blending debut EP WHAT HAVE I ‘DON, featuring names like Skip Marley, Stonebwoy, and Solo YT, and production from an international roster of creatives. That momentum carried him through SXSW and performances at Cali Vibes Festival, Departure Festival, and this week’s NXNE set.

King Cruff also earned a JUNO nomination for “FALLBACK” (ft. Runkus), solidifying him as a name to watch in reggae and hip-hop circles alike.

Up next: appearances at major summer festivals including Festival d’été de Québec, Sommo Festival, and a prime opening spot for The Roots in British Columbia.

Now streaming everywhere, “BUNCH” is witty, rhythmic, and refreshingly different—exactly what we’ve come to expect from King Cruff.
