Luis Brown’s “Dame Chapa” brings Dominican trap to the global spotlight via Atlantic Records.

Influencers and fans across Latin America are tuning into Luis Brown’s latest drop, “Dame Chapa (feat. Pressure 9×19)”—and this time, it’s with a major co-sign. The Dominican artist just signed to Atlantic Records, putting his genre-bending sound on the world stage.

Luis’s music sits at the intersection of Latin Trap and Detroit basslines, a blend that’s distinctly his own. “Dame Chapa” continues that streak, combining high-octane verses with swagger and authenticity.

“Many believed in my music and style because it was the first of its kind from the island,” Luis explains. “In the past, Atlantic always found their way to introduce the first of its kind into the market. I wanted the same and they saw my talent. Los tigres no mienten.”

Label heads Lu Mota and Lanre Gaba of Atlantic Records added: “Luis Brown is part of a really exciting movement… We’re proud to partner with him and his team to amplify his artistry on a worldwide stage.”

Already known for breakout hits like “History” and “Malagradecido,” Luis Brown continues to build a powerful brand rooted in authenticity, genre fusion, and cultural pride.
