John K Drops ‘SALT + LIGHT’, a Deeply Personal Album About Life and Love

John K shares ‘SALT + LIGHT’, a 13-track project focused on love, family, and inner growth.
Singer and songwriter John K has released his third studio album SALT + LIGHT, now streaming via Epic Records. The album arrives with 13 emotionally resonant tracks written during a transformative period in John’s life.
Teaming with producers like Rykeyz and Midi Jones, John K crafted a record that weaves together pop, soul, and R&B with intimate lyrics. Key singles include “Honey,” “Lost,” “Never Been In Love,” “River,” and “Broken.”
“I’ve grown into becoming a father and a husband, and my music has grown with me,” John explains.
From the vulnerable “Broken” to the euphoric “Honey,” SALT + LIGHT offers a multifaceted portrait of love and family. “Lost,” one of the album’s early releases, helped reestablish John’s voice in the contemporary pop scene.
“You’ve found the person you can’t imagine your life without,” he said. “The only way to say it is, ‘I’d be lost without you’.”
Fans can experience these tracks live when John kicks off The SALT + LIGHT Tour: Part 1 on July 31, visiting 19 cities across North America.
“I want every word I’m singing to be believable,” John adds. “I’m excited to bring this music to the world.”
