‘CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ’ Begins with Don Diablo’s “Amsterdam” on Monstercat

Don Diablo kicks off ‘CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ’ with “Amsterdam”, fusing emotional energy and club grit.

Don Diablo has introduced a new artistic identity with the launch of CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ, debuting the project with the single “Amsterdam” on Monstercat. This new release follows a sold-out North American tour and signals a fresh direction for the acclaimed Dutch DJ.

“Amsterdam” features grime-driven textures and atmospheric melodies, backed by intense bass and vocal manipulation. The result is a track that challenges expectations and demonstrates the creative freedom Don Diablo is exploring through this alter ego.

Speaking about the collaboration, Don Diablo said, “I’ve always been a big fan of Monstercat, so releasing my first CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ record with them feels like the perfect match. This project has become one of the most exciting journeys for me creatively this year. This new track is called ‘Amsterdam,’ it’s high energy, emotional, and a heartfelt tribute to the city I grew up in and still deeply love. Honestly, this might be my favorite CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ record so far.”

The release is accompanied by the announcement of a show at Paradiso in Amsterdam on September 19, Don’s first in his hometown since 2018. The venue will offer a more intimate setting, contrasting his larger tour performances.

This new release comes amid a year full of creative milestones for Don Diablo, including his recent work with Nelly Furtado, a debut on Sweat It Out, and the 10th anniversary of his HEXAGON label.

Festival bookings this summer include major events such as Untold, Sziget, Medusa, and more. With CONTROL ALT DΞLΞTΞ, Don Diablo reinvents his output while staying grounded in innovation.
