Stream ‘1-800 FK-YOU’ now, a cheeky clapback from Alemeda on TDE, Warner Records, visualizer live, North America and Europe dates.

The call is simple, listen then watch. Alemeda drops ‘1-800 FK-YOU’ via Top Dawg Entertainment, Warner Records, and pairs the release with a visualizer. The concept is aimed at anyone who has been the headline in a group chat. With razor sharp delivery and zero tolerance for fakes, Alemeda flips the script on drama, turning side eyes into the spotlight. It is equal parts petty and powerful, a playful clapback wrapped in hot girl confidence.

Her summary of the song sets the tone: ““1-800-F**K-YOU” is really just about how I couldn’t care less what people think because I truly believe your haters are always your biggest fans. It’s cocky, and it’s a little petty in the cutest way.”

Alemeda’s background threads into the single. Calling on pop, rock, and indie sensibilities, the Ethiopian Sudanese singer songwriter and producer builds music as self expression and empowerment. The 2021 UK garage single ‘Gonna Bleach My Eyebrows’ first turned heads and has crossed 14 million streams. The direction continued on the 2024 debut EP ‘FK IT’, where unfiltered emotion and compelling storytelling underscored an alt pop rock muse. That project’s success and critical acclaim earned opening slots on tours for Rachel Chinouriri and Halsey recently.

Festivals keep the momentum visible. Alemeda is on a full run across North America and Europe, including Lollapalooza and Osheaga. The schedule circles The Vic Theatre in Chicago on Jul. 31, 2025, Lollapalooza Chicago 2025 on Aug. 1, 2025, Osheaga Music and Arts Festival 2025 in Montréal on Aug. 2, 2025, Outside Lands 2025 in San Francisco on Aug. 8, 2025, Pukkelpop 2025 in Hasselt on Aug. 17, 2025, Rock en Seine 2025 in Saint-Cloud on Aug. 21, 2025, All Points East | RAYE 2025 in London on Aug. 23, 2025, Forwards Festival 2025 in Bristol on Aug. 24, 2025, All Things Go in Forest Hills on Sep. 27, 2025, All Things Go in Columbia on Sep. 28, 2025, Austin City Limits Music Festival 2025 in Austin on Oct. 4, 2025, All Things Go Toronto in Toronto on Oct. 5, 2025, and Austin City Limits Music Festival 2025 in Austin on Oct. 11, 2025.
