Marking her first release in nearly four years, “Butterflies” introduces an exciting new era for the singer-songwriter.

ABIR describes the track: “‘Butterflies’ is all about the thrill of new love and the excitement and vulnerability it brings. It feels like the perfect way to open this next chapter, and I can’t wait to keep sharing this side of me.”

Since breaking onto the scene, ABIR has been celebrated for her unique ability to fuse modern pop and R&B with vocal elements rooted in her Moroccan heritage. Her rise to fame began with the RIAA gold-certified single “Finest Hour,” a collaboration with Cash Cash that reached the top of iTunes’ Dance Songs chart and became a Top 40 staple. Her debut EP, MINT, featured viral tracks like “Tango” and “Young & Rude,” amassing over half a billion streams.

With her HEAT EP further exploring her cultural roots, ABIR has continued to push boundaries and inspire. “Butterflies” reaffirms her commitment to celebrating her heritage while reshaping the narrative for Arab women in contemporary music.
