Halsey Drops “I Never Loved You” Ahead of The Great Impersonator

Halsey releases the 80s-inspired track “I Never Loved You” from her upcoming album, out October 25th.

Halsey continues to build excitement for her fifth studio album, The Great Impersonator, with the release of her latest single, “I Never Loved You.” Produced by Michael Uzowuru and Tyler Johnson, the track reflects the artist’s experimentation with 80s-inspired sounds.

This release follows the success of “Ego,” which reached the US Top 40. “I Never Loved You” adds another layer to the album’s evolving narrative, giving fans a taste of what’s to come when the full project drops on October 25th.

Starting on October 7th, Halsey is counting down to the album’s release by impersonating different musical legends and sharing snippets of tracks they’ve inspired. Among the icons she’s embodied are Dolly Parton, PJ Harvey, and Kate Bush.

In celebration of the album launch, Halsey will also perform on Amazon Music Live’s special Halloween episode on October 31st, bringing an exciting close to the countdown.
