Kassi Ashton teams up with Parker McCollum for ‘Sounds Like Something I’d Say,’ a heartfelt duet from her upcoming album Made From The Dirt: The Blooms.

Kassi Ashton and Parker McCollum come together for “Sounds Like Something I’d Say,” an emotional track capturing regret and self-reflection. This collaboration will be featured on Kassi’s forthcoming deluxe album, Made From The Dirt: The Blooms, arriving April 25 via MCA Nashville.

On the song’s origins, Kassi shares:
“Parker is a great friend of mine and I love his voice. The first time I ever heard him sing this song, we were backstage at the Ryman. I knew I had to cut it and that he had to sing it with me.”

Parker adds:
“Kassi has been one of my favorite singers in Nashville for quite some time. I had a demo in my phone of her singing this song for a few years. After begging her to record it for a long time, she finally said she’d do it if I’d sing on it with her. I’m so glad I decided to do it and I hope it hits all the feels when people hear it.”

This release follows a standout year for Kassi, who earned an ACM nomination, landed a Top 40 hit, and toured with Old Dominion, Jamey Johnson, and Parker McCollum. She will be on tour with Jon Pardi starting April 25 and will perform at Audacy’s Leading Ladies event in Brooklyn on April 3.
