Sebastian Schub’s new single “Be Still” offers a heartfelt preview of debut EP “Sing Like Madonna”, out June 6.

Sebastian Schub, the German-born, London-based artist capturing hearts across the UK and beyond, shares his latest single “Be Still,” taken from his debut EP Sing Like Madonna, due out June 6 via Island EMI / Capitol Records.

“Be Still” highlights Schub’s deeply expressive baritone, offering a reflective and intimate moment that captures the emotional depth of his forthcoming project.

Schub’s journey to this release is unlike most. An opera singer at five, busker at 17, and now a rising star with 200k+ TikTok followers, Schub built his career brick by brick—earning praise through live performance before his recent online breakout.

Following a sold-out UK tour, Schub heads stateside this June for performances in New York and Los Angeles, followed by a major support slot at BST Hyde Park with Noah Kahan.

He recorded the EP with collaborators including Steve Fitzmaurice, Rob Kirwan, and Dann Hume, the latter of whom became a creative partner. “He does everything I do, but better,” Schub says. “He’ll plug the guitar in and make it sound exactly the way I would want it to sound.”

Lyrically, Schub’s journey was equally deliberate. Having only learned English at 15, he immersed himself in literature to find his voice, even reading Jane Eyre four times in multiple languages.

“Be Still” is streaming now—an emotional prelude to an EP years in the making.
