Ally Salort Breaks Through with Vulnerable Debut EP ‘Change of Plans’

Ally Salort’s ‘Change of Plans’ explores love and identity through raw alt-pop expression.
Ally Salort releases her highly anticipated debut EP Change of Plans today on Disruptor Records/RCA Records. Known for her candid songwriting and reflective alt-pop style, Ally makes a memorable first impression with this collection.
The EP features standout singles “Tattoo (Selective Memory)” and “Horror Movie,” as well as two new versions of earlier tracks, creating a sonic journey that mirrors emotional highs and lows. Lyrically rich and vocally driven, the EP speaks to the complexities of love, memory, and personal growth.
“‘Change of Plans’ felt like the perfect title to describe the emotional detour this project takes you through…” says Ally.
Built on a foundation of emotional transparency, Change of Plans leans into self-reflection while offering a reminder that plans can evolve. The mix of nostalgia and resilience throughout the tracklist makes it both intimate and universally resonant.
In celebration, Ally will take the stage for her debut headline shows in August, with stops in Los Angeles and New York, followed by her Austin City Limits debut on October 12. The release represents a major milestone in Ally’s early but quickly rising career.
