Adam Ten & Bontan Drop Tribal House Anthem “Hey”

“Hey,” the new single from Adam Ten and Bontan, blends tribal percussion, buzzing synths, and a West African hip-hop hook.
Adam Ten and Bontan, two boundary-pushing producers in house music, have released their collaborative single, “Hey,” on Insomniac Records. Combining tribal grooves with innovative electronic textures, the track highlights their shared ability to merge global influences into compelling club music.
“Hey” is driven by intricate percussive patterns, including djembe and shaker rhythms, complemented by buzzing synth waves and whirring textures. A standout feature is the hip-hop hook sung in a West African dialect, which adds a retro-contemporary flair to the composition.
Adam Ten, a rising star from Tel Aviv, has been recognized by Pete Tong as ‘One To Watch’ in 2024. Known for his eclectic influences, Adam has graced iconic stages such as Coachella, Circoloco Ibiza, and Brooklyn Mirage. His Essential Mix debut this year further established his reputation as a tastemaker in the house music scene.
Liverpool’s Bontan, celebrated as Radio 1’s ‘Future Star,’ has carved a name as one of the UK’s most consistent house producers. With performances scheduled at Space Miami, The Warehouse Project Manchester, and Zamna Tulum, he continues to command global attention.
On their collaboration, Bontan says, “I feel that ‘Hey’ is a perfect blend of us, with a tribal groove. I met Adam in Miami when we played Space the same night. After hearing him live, I felt like a fusion of our sounds would make something special.”
“Hey” is available to stream now, offering a vibrant showcase of two innovative talents.
