Aidan Bissett Teases Debut Album with “2 much 2 handle” and Fall Tour Reveal

“2 much 2 handle” arrives as Aidan Bissett preps debut album and announces tour dates.
Rising indie-pop favorite Aidan Bissett brings another taste of his forthcoming debut album with the release of “2 much 2 handle,” a genre-blending anthem available now via Capitol Records. Accompanied by the announcement of his North American tour and an album release date of July 25, Bissett’s newest single showcases his evolution as both a songwriter and performer.
The track delves into the chaos and thrill of new infatuation, exploring the tension between emotional vulnerability and youthful exuberance. “On the table I was kissing your mouth, was it too much to handle?” he sings. “Told your daddy that I slept on the couch, but he’s smart enough to figure it out.”
“This one feels like a stop-and-go rollercoaster,” Bissett explains. “It captures the feeling of hitting your highest peaks and your lowest lows. It’s about anticipation — you’re going up and up, but the fall never happens.” This emotional push-and-pull is echoed in the song’s visualizer, which shows the artist walking against a stream of passersby on a conveyor belt.
Alongside “2 much 2 handle,” Bissett has released two other tracks from the upcoming album: the emotionally candid “ricochet” and the pulsing, retro-inspired “are we in love yet?”
Bissett’s headlining tour will begin September 14 in San Diego and conclude October 22 at Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre, with a key date at New York’s Irving Plaza. Tickets go on sale to the public May 16 at 10AM local time.
