Carter Faith Delivers “Bar Star” and Sets October Release for ‘Cherry Valley’

Carter Faith’s new single “Bar Star” introduces her debut album ‘Cherry Valley‘, out October 3 on MCA.
Country newcomer Carter Faith shares her latest single, “Bar Star,” out now, ahead of her debut full-length album Cherry Valley, due October 3 via MCA. The single comes packaged with a bonus track, “Billy Bob Thornton (Worktape),” offering fans two new reasons to tune in.
With “Bar Star,” Faith channels charm and sincerity into a portrayal of a flawed yet endearing character. “In simple terms, he’s the star of the bar—for better or for worse—but damnit, she loves him,” she reflects. The track pairs upbeat energy with storytelling that feels personal and lived-in.
“Billy Bob Thornton (Worktape)” offers a tongue-in-cheek moment of personal admiration. “I wrote this song about Billy Bob Thornton because I literally love him… I just had to write about it,” Carter explains.
Cherry Valley is named for a sign that once caught her attention and stayed in her memory—a metaphor for a place where artistic identity forms. The album reflects years of experiences: heartbreak, growth, and finding her voice in Nashville.
After gracing the Opry stage and racking up millions of streams, Carter Faith is poised for her biggest chapter yet.
