DARUMAS Expands Debut with “Ex-Cusas” and Fresh Funk-Driven Tracks That Redefine Latin Pop

DARUMAS builds on the trio’s breakout year with “Ex-Cusas” and 8 fresh tracks blending funk, soul & pop.
Alt-funk trio DARUMAS isn’t slowing down. Just one year after their bold debut turned heads—and earned a Latin GRAMMY nomination—they’re back with DARUMAS+, the expanded edition featuring eight new tracks that cement their genre-defying groove.
Leading the way is “Ex-Cusas,” a funky, no-apologies anthem full of sass, soul, and emotional clarity. With brass flourishes and bilingual wit, the track playfully reframes heartbreak into self-empowerment. The music video, drenched in warped visuals and cosmic flair, turns DARUMAS into a surrealist girl gang claiming their space.
The new additions to the album include dance-ready standouts like “Hollywood” and the slow-burning, confessional “No La Llames.” Meanwhile, their festival-performed track “Francotirador” adds political bite to their sonic arsenal.
Made up of Aldana Aguirre, Ceci Leon, and Vedala Vilmond, DARUMAS are more than musicians—they’re influencers shaping a new direction in Latin music. Whether onstage at Lollapalooza Argentina or in the studio blending pop with Afro-Caribbean rhythms, the trio continues to create music that’s fiercely original and globally resonant.
