“ESPEJO” is EthanUno’s latest sonic twist—a sweet-sounding track with a sharp lyrical sting.

Emerging from his recent wave of inventive releases, EthanUno presents “ESPEJO,” a bilingual alt-pop track that disguises lyrical edge with playful melodies. Released via Friends Keep Secrets / Interscope, the single is a polished display of his creative autonomy.

Every element in “ESPEJO” bears EthanUno’s mark—he wrote, produced, and performed it solo. The result? A sugary, synth-washed tune that flirts with whimsical imagery while dealing with themes of mistrust.

Lines like, “Baby, si me mientes, seré tu espejo,” paired with the punchy, “Mirror mirror on the wall, you the baddest of them all / Your body hot, your heart is cold,” playfully dismantle the idea of romantic fantasy.

EthanUno leans into self-aware creativity: “With ‘ESPEJO’ I was just tryna write the dumbest song I could. Like, dumb enough to make me laugh. It honestly could have been even dumber, but I ain’t even mad. There are more songs to be written!”

The track is part of a rapid-fire release strategy that includes “EL CAPARAZÓN” and “MALA MÍA,” all crafted with immediacy in mind. As EthanUno explained in a recent interview, “I’m huge on capturing the entire feeling of the song and its release while it still feels fresh; it’s like serving food while it’s still hot.”
