FELIVAND Taps Into Radical Honesty on New Album ‘my body’s my true north’

FELIVAND embraces emotion-first songwriting on her new project, out now with tour dates announced.
FELIVAND’s newest album my body’s my true north is out now, delivering a bold, intuitive record rooted in embodiment and emotional truth. In support of the project, she’s announced a fall headline tour running from September to October.
Inspired by revelations during therapy, the project centers around a key emotional insight: the body remembers what the mind tries to forget. This awareness became the foundation for the album’s sound and direction.
FELIVAND articulates it clearly:
“When I listen to what my body’s telling me, it feels like an unwavering light at the end of the tunnel, an orienting point. Something fixed like a ‘true north’, while everything else around it spins. When I follow thought, i’m in with everything that’s spinning.”
On my body’s my true north, FELIVAND sheds overthinking and leans into her instincts. This approach manifests through melodies that ebb and flow with vulnerability, and production choices that feel spacious, unforced, and emotionally grounded.
Compared to her earlier work, this album is deliberately more fluid — less bound by structure and more connected to lived experience. FELIVAND opens up fully here, embracing all parts of her identity as an artist and a person in motion.
This album not only charts new musical territory for her — it offers a message of self-acceptance and emotional integrity that resonates far beyond the studio.
