G Flip embraces 80s flair and personal growth on new single “In Another Life” from ‘Dream Ride’.

With their third album Dream Ride officially announced, G Flip has dropped a deeply reflective new single, “In Another Life,” now available on streaming platforms alongside a visualizer.

The track offers a look into the themes of the upcoming project, inspired by 80s pop, emotional freedom, and vintage aesthetics. Late-night drives through Los Angeles served as sonic fuel for the album’s lyrical world.

G Flip reflects: “I kept asking myself, ‘Who would I have been in the 80’s?’… The answer is Butch Springsteen, the masc lesbian, non-binary, drumming, singing pop star that never existed.”

Their sonic and visual identity in Dream Ride is rich with personality and storytelling, with a nod to classic muscle cars and rock-driven drama. The project includes “Disco Cowgirl” and “Big Ol’ Hammer,” adding to its already eclectic palette.
