Grace Davies Drops “Super Love Me” Ahead of Long-Awaited Debut Album

Grace Davies delivers “Super Love Me,” a glittering heartbreak pop single from her debut LP “The Wrong Side of 25”.
UK pop artist Grace Davies is back with a brand-new single, “Super Love Me,” a searing, emotionally raw anthem wrapped in a disco-tinged shimmer. It marks the final chapter before the release of her debut album The Wrong Side of 25 on July 11.
After the success of “MDE”—which saw her land on the Spotify New Pop UK cover and receive praise from The Independent—Grace returns with a heartbreak banger packed with biting humor and soaring vocals.
Co-written with Nick Bradley, James New, and Paul Whalley, and co-produced by Whalley and Davies herself, “Super Love Me” draws on an ABBA-esque bassline and tongue-in-cheek lyrics like:
“Why d’ya have to make it like you super loved me / If you’re only gonna go and super let me down?”
“Sometimes I have to remind myself of what this song is about, because I just want to boogie round my bedroom,” Grace shares. “But really—it is a classic Grace sad girl anthem.”
Speaking about the track’s inspiration, Grace says:
“In 2020 I got into a very fast-moving, ‘covid bubble’ relationship… then one day he woke up, left the flat and I never heard from him again.”
Set to perform at Silverstone’s Made in Vale Stage on July 4 during the F1 British Grand Prix, Grace is poised for a major breakout summer.
