Haiden Henderson Shares ‘tension’ EP and Preps for Debut Headline Tour

Haiden Henderson explores emotional complexity on his new EP and announces fall tour dates.
With the arrival of tension, Haiden Henderson steps confidently into his next chapter. The LAVA/Republic Records release features eight tracks that explore the emotional weight of a relationship turned sour — and the closure that never came.
Haiden shares, “A friendship-turned-romantic stitches all of these songs together. It complicated my life. tension follows the arc of this situation becoming complicated and falling out. Since the relationship ended without closure, the songs are my way of getting my side of the story out.”
The project builds on momentum from earlier singles “lovesucker,” “lips,” and “sweat.” With grainy guitar tones and atmospheric layers, the title track “tension” reveals the discomfort of unspoken feelings, heightened by the lyric: “You still live, down the street, we don’t speak, tension’s all I know.”
Haiden first made waves with the Good Grief EP in 2022 and followed up with two more acclaimed releases in 2024. A dedicated fanbase, known as Haider Nation, continues to grow as he explores new depths with each release.
Now, he’s hitting the road for The Tension Tour, which will take him through North America before heading overseas. His London headline show is set for September at The Garage, promising an immersive experience for fans.
