Jade Bird Embraces Vulnerability in New Single “Nobody”

Fourth single “Nobody” sees Jade Bird confronting emotional truths with bold honesty.
Jade Bird’s latest single, “Nobody,” captures the heartache of watching love slip away while refusing to let go. The fourth track from her upcoming album Who Wants To Talk About Love? (out July 18 via Glassnote Records), “Nobody” is a stripped-down, emotionally raw piece that expands on the deeply personal themes explored in her recent releases.
Written by Jade and produced by Andrew Wells, the track highlights her ability to blend melancholic lyrics with anthemic production. “Knowing your relationship is in tatters but being unable to admit defeat,” she shares, “because you feel that there’s no one who is better than that person despite it being so bad.”
The song follows a strong run of releases including “Dreams,” “Avalanche,” and “Who Wants.” These songs have begun to shape a larger narrative—one of family cycles, emotional reckoning, and healing. With contributions from producers like Andrew Sarlo and Greg Kurstin, Jade’s third album is set to be her most revealing project yet.
Jade elaborates: “It’s as much a question as an answer, wondering if I could break the cycle while finding my own path to forgiveness.”
Her evolution is visible not just in sound, but in purpose. With every song, Jade Bird becomes more transparent, vulnerable, and artistically fearless—qualities that resonate strongly with her dedicated fanbase and beyond.
