Viral Star Jordan Firstman Turns Confessions Into Songs on Bold Debut Album “Secrets”

Jordan Firstman’s debut album “Secrets” transforms fan-submitted DMs into music. Out now via Capitol Records.
Internet sensation Jordan Firstman—famous for his viral Impressions and comedic takes on modern life—has released his debut album Secrets, a wildly creative collection built from real-life confessions. Out now via Capitol Records, the project showcases Firstman’s ability to flip internet culture into immersive, genre-hopping music.
Secrets features collaborations with Rufus Wainwright, Julia Fox, Rachel Sennott, Suki Waterhouse, LAUNDRY DAY, and Jimmy Pop, plus a cameo from Firstman’s own mom. The concept is as unique as the roster: each track is inspired by anonymous DMs Firstman has collected from fans since 2020—“deepest, darkest, and dirtiest” secrets he first shared on Instagram with commentary or musical sketches.
The video for lead single “I’m quitting my job tomorri” blends dreamy hooks and lyrical weight over a UK garage beat, channeling Pink Pantheress and Central Cee. The track’s title, intentionally misspelled, captures Firstman’s satirical style and emotional edge—a tone reflected throughout the visual narrative.
Having already appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show and in features with Billboard and InStyle, Firstman continues to push boundaries with Secrets. Musically, the album is unpredictable, jumping from Auto-Tuned R&B to punk to crooner jazz to country. Producers Brad Oberhofer, Blake Slatkin, Zach Dawes, and Sega Bodega helped shape the diverse soundscape.
With nearly one million followers and praise from Ariana Grande to DAZED, Firstman’s pivot to music shows how influencers can drive creativity across platforms. He’ll soon appear in Rachel Sennott’s new HBO series, but for now, Secrets speaks volumes.
