Josh Levi Channels Houston Nostalgia in New Single “DON’T GO”

Josh Levi releases “DON’T GO” and preps his debut album “HYDRAULIC”, coming this summer.
Josh Levi is back in the spotlight, this time blending Houston nostalgia with polished R&B vibes on his latest single, “DON’T GO.” Out now via Raedio/Atlantic Records, the track pays homage to Destiny’s Child’s “No, No, No,” reimagining it through Levi’s lens as a 2025 R&B frontrunner.
The track is the first offering from Levi’s upcoming full-length debut, HYDRAULIC, set for release this summer. Thematically, Levi connects the emotional flow of love to the mechanics of hydraulic systems: “Love, like hydraulics, is a system that lifts, dips, and demands care and maintenance… Similar to a mechanic, I continue to keep myself functional even when the system – my heart/mind – breaks down so that I can always keep moving.”
Following a strong 2024 live run that included the Bosstanical Garden Tour and TwoGether Land, Levi is now stepping confidently into the next phase of his career. With HYDRAULIC, he blends personal insight with R&B tradition to craft a new narrative rooted in vulnerability and confidence.
“DON’T GO” sets the tone not just for the album, but for the emotional arc of a rising star.
