JT releases “Ran Out” via NYLON with Quenlin Blackwell, marking a bold new era after City Cinderella success.

JT has returned with a fiery new release, and she’s bringing the energy with her latest single “Ran Out.” Out now via Quality Control Music/Motown Records, the song marks a fresh chapter for the rapper following her standout 2024 and the success of her mixtape City Cinderella.

Premiering this morning on NYLON, the “Ran Out” video is a visual event, featuring social media favorite Quenlin Blackwell and directed by INDIANA420BITCH—renowned for their work with Kim Kardashian and Playboi Carti. With bold style, boss energy, and friends in tow, JT declares: “Bitch I’m getting money, I ain’t run out / my bitches shaking ass with their hands out.”

The single arrives after JT’s Hot 100 hit “OKAY” and her sold-out City Cinderella tour. She’s continued to move across spaces beyond music, attending fashion tastemaker Rick Owens’ exclusive event with Michele Lamy, and making headlines with her performance at DSquared2’s Fall/Winter 2025 show alongside Doechii.

JT recently graced the cover of I-D’s Unknown Issue, where she stated: “I’m always going to be an It girl. I’ve been one before I was a rapper—all five mugshots.” That statement sums up what “Ran Out” delivers—swagger, resilience, and presence.

With City Cinderella pulling in accolades from Essence and Billboard, and climbing the charts to No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums, JT is showing no signs of slowing. “Ran Out” is here to soundtrack the next takeover.
