Manifestation Meets Melody: Kalsey Kulyk Shares “Till I Get To Heaven”

Kalsey Kulyk fulfills a decade-long dream with new single “Till I Get To Heaven,” out now via UMC.
Kalsey Kulyk turns a teenage dream into a heartfelt country anthem with her latest release, “Till I Get To Heaven.” Out now via Universal Music Canada, the single is infused with breezy warmth, bringing together storytelling and sunshine in equal parts.
For Kulyk, the track has roots that go back to age 17, when she first discovered Liz Rose through Taylor Swift’s early music.
“When I was 17 years old I heard Taylor Swift on the radio for the first time and then immediately went and bought her first album,” she recalls. “The name that was beside all of my favorite songs on that album was ‘Liz Rose.’”
The influence was lasting. “I don’t know when or how, but one day I’m going to write songs with her.”
That day came during a Zoom writing session with Rose and Phil Barton, where Kulyk brought the concept that became “Till I Get To Heaven”—a breezy track about embracing life’s highs without hesitation.
Musically, the song is light yet purposeful, with Kulyk’s voice carrying a sincerity that reflects her classic country influences. As a Canadian artist with a growing presence, she’s known for her mix of vintage tone and modern lyrical honesty.
Based in Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Kulyk continues to win over fans through genuine connection and relatable themes. “Till I Get To Heaven” is a standout example of how vision, persistence, and timing come together in the creative process.
