Geffen Records artist Laci Kaye Booth returns with a standout track that blends reverence and romance—“George F****** Strait.” Released ahead of her CMA Fest appearance, the single is a heartfelt tribute to a country icon, delivered in Booth’s signature slow-burn style.
Written with Melissa Fuller and Anderson East, and produced by Ben West and East, the song nods to Booth’s lifelong admiration for the “King of Country Music.” As Booth herself explains, “This song is about admiring and loving a cowboy as he ages, with the prime example being the King of Country music, the Troubadour himself.”
The video, directed by Natalie Sakstrup, paints a dreamy, twilight-hued backdrop where Booth brings the narrative to life.
Booth recently performed at the Grand Ole Opry and will continue her momentum with tour dates this summer alongside Megan Mooney and Parker McCollum. She’s also booked for key festivals including North of Nowhere and Country Calling.
