Luke Combs Celebrates New Single “Back In The Saddle” with NASCAR Legends in Star-Packed Video

Luke Combs premieres “Back In The Saddle” with NASCAR icons Dale Jr. & Richard Petty in the video.
Luke Combs is putting horsepower behind his newest single, “Back In The Saddle.” The track arrives alongside an energetic music video directed by Tyler Adams and features NASCAR royalty Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Richard Petty. This pairing of country grit and racing legacy makes for a uniquely American release that’s already turning heads.
“So much work goes into making these songs, so much time we spend making them, from the studio writing them to the videos. I got to make the video with Dale Jr. and Richard Petty, which is a total dream come true. My grandpa would be rolling over in his grave in a good way if he knew that I got to hang out with Richard Petty and Dale Jr,” shared Combs about the experience.
Written with Dan Isbell and Jonathan Singleton and produced alongside Singleton and Chip Matthews, the track exemplifies Combs’ ability to craft impactful anthems rooted in real-life sentiment.
The release follows an impressive year for Combs, who’s been busy headlining landmark festivals like Bonnaroo, JazzFest, and the upcoming Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. He’s become the first country artist to lead both Bonnaroo and Lolla lineups—a major cultural crossover.
From his emotional album Fathers & Sons to major collaborations with artists like Post Malone and Jon Bellion, Combs is showing his range across the music spectrum. His accolades include 155.5 million RIAA-certified units, GRAMMY nominations, and Diamond singles.
“Back In The Saddle” is more than a new song—it’s a celebration of legacy, identity, and the ongoing rise of a country artist with a global message.
