Mabel redefines her artistic voice with a raw, genre-spanning mixtape, led by focus track “Turn Me Up.”

Polydor Records has unveiled the self-titled mixtape from Mabel, a BRIT Award-winning artist reclaiming her sound and story. “Mabel” is more than just a mixtape—it’s a mirror to her evolution over the past decade.

The project features nine tracks shaped by intimate studio sessions, largely completed at her home. Key collaborators include Clavish, who features on “Benz,” as well as Oscar Scheller and Arthur Bean, whose production credits anchor the release.

Mabel shares her perspective: “This mixtape being self-titled is an important moment for me because it feels like a reintroduction…I hope that when people listen to this project they truly get to know me better!”

The highlight of the release, “Turn Me Up,” delivers layered production and captivating emotional weight. Oscar Scheller’s guitar-driven arrangement enhances the song’s immersive feel, while Mabel’s vocal presence remains confidently understated.

About the single, she notes: “This track is definitely my favourite on the mixtape. It’s about the imperfect side of relationships and meeting your match for better or for worse!”

From slick hooks to lyrical depth, the mixtape is both approachable and authentic. Mabel leans into her roots while inviting listeners into a more unfiltered version of herself.
