Mae Martin announces I’m A TV, their debut indie rock album arriving February 27. Pre-order now and hear two tracks today.

Mae Martin, known for their award-winning work in comedy and acting, is making their musical debut with I’m A TV, an indie rock album set for release on February 27, 2025, via Universal Music Canada and Republic Records. Two tracks, “Good Dream” and “Stowaway,” are available now, offering a preview of the album’s nostalgic and heartfelt sound.

Produced by Jason Couse and Wes Marskell of The Darcys, I’m A TV explores themes of identity, nostalgia, and self-expression. Mae’s lyrics are steeped in vivid memories and millennial sentimentality, evoking the atmosphere of coming-of-age moments and high school basements.

“I’ve been writing songs since I was a teenager, but I never intended to share them,” Mae explains. “Moving to LA gave me the space to reconnect with that part of myself and express these emotions without the need for a punchline. This album feels like a natural extension of everything I’ve been trying to say across all my creative work.”

Jeffrey Remedios, Chairman & CEO of UMC, said, “Mae’s talent is undeniable. They share their life experiences with humor, honesty, and openness, creating a deep bond with fans. This album is an inspiring addition to their artistry.”

As a comedian, actor, and now singer-songwriter, Mae Martin’s ability to connect with audiences transcends mediums. I’m A TV promises to be an authentic and emotional journey.
