Riley Green Releases Acoustic EP “Midtown Sessions,” Featuring No. 1 Hit “Worst Way”

“Midtown Sessions” brings Riley Green’s acoustic side to life, including a Tim McGraw cover.
Riley Green has launched his latest project, “Midtown Sessions,” a new acoustic EP offering fans a stripped-down perspective on his country roots. Out now via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment, the collection includes five tracks crafted over a year of touring and songwriting.
The project leans heavily into the classic country sounds of the ‘90s, a time period that deeply influences Green’s musical identity. With production led by Erik Dylan, the EP pares down instrumentation to spotlight Green’s vocal tone and personal lyricism.
Included in the project is Green’s Double PLATINUM single “Worst Way,” which recently hit No. 1, along with “Jesus Saves,” “Change My Mind,” and a notable acoustic rendition of Tim McGraw’s “The Cowboy in Me.” Also featured is “Bartender In Destin,” rounding out the emotionally resonant set.
Green shared production duties on “Worst Way,” “Jesus Saves,” and “Cowboy in Me,” highlighting his increasing role behind the scenes. The release feels intimate, grounded, and reflective of the journey Green continues to walk.
As his Damn Country Music Tour hits cities across North America and the UK, Green also announced the return of Duckman Jam, taking place in Little Rock this November. $5 from each ticket sold will be donated in partnership with Ducks Unlimited to preserve wetlands and protect wildlife habitats.
For fans of timeless country music and heartfelt lyrics, Midtown Sessions is a refreshing listen and a strong continuation of Riley Green’s artistic story.
