Robin Cisek debuts her new single “Escape” and visualizer while gearing up for her album release.

Award-winning pop artist and producer Robin Cisek is offering fans another glimpse into her evolving sound with the release of “Escape,” the latest single from her upcoming full-length album, due in just under two months.

Produced alongside Brandon Unis and Brad Simons, “Escape” is a heartfelt tribute to the people who keep Cisek grounded. “Sometimes I get really overwhelmed and I’m so thankful for the people that help me get a break and bring me back down to earth,” Cisek shares. “Without each of these people, I wouldn’t have accomplished everything I have to date and, for that, I’ll be forever grateful for them.”

The new track builds on the momentum of “Play Dirty,” a bold first single that introduced her next era. Cisek, a proud Métis artist, produced more than half the songs on the upcoming album, determined to spotlight women’s contributions to the music industry. “I’m so proud that this project allowed me to work with an incredible group of women,” she says.

Released alongside “Escape” is a self-directed visualizer that brings fans into Edmonton’s vibrant arts scene, highlighting the work of local artist MAST. “Edmonton is such an artistic city,” says Cisek. “I’m happy to share some of my favourite spots.”

Following her No Girl Left Behind appearance, Robin Cisek will perform in Edmonton and Toronto this summer.
