Rosie Darling has released her new EP Roomful Of People via Nettwerk, marking a fresh and energized chapter in her indie-pop journey. Produced by Justin Gammella (FINNEAS, Ashe), the EP blends emotional songwriting with more playful, vibrant production.
At the heart of the record is the standout single “It Is What It Is,” where Rosie confronts the reality of a fading relationship. “I say, ‘It is what it is,’ because I know what it isn’t,” she sings with clarity and heart. Rosie explains, “It’s about realizing where you stand with someone. Communication in relationships is complex, but it can also be simple.”
Rosie describes Roomful Of People as a reset from her previous, more somber project Lanterns. “It feels more playful and upbeat. I hope it’s a fun listen,” she says.
