Vevo’s short film captures raw live moments from Selena Gomez & benny blanco’s new era.

Selena Gomez and benny blanco have released their collaborative short film “I Said I Love You First”, part of Vevo’s acclaimed Extended Play series. The film includes powerful live renditions of “Sunset Blvd,” “Scared of Loving You,” and “How Does It Feel To Be Forgotten.”

Filmed in the Los Angeles home they share, the project brings viewers into the exact spaces where the songs were written and recorded—creating an experience rooted in authenticity and love.

In a kitchen conversation, the pair discusses what it means to collaborate in love and art. “It’s so easy for us to work together,” says benny. “We speak the same language.” Selena echoes, “You make sure it sounds like me—authentic.”

According to Vevo’s JP Evangelista, “You can really feel the love and support between these two icons exude through the screen.”

This release is more than a visual—it’s a celebration of trust, intimacy, and two creative minds coming together as one.
