Will Smith releases new track “Pretty Girls” with video and reveals international tour kicking off July 13.

Will Smith is back on the music scene in full force with “Pretty Girls,” a new single released via SLANG Recordings. This sunny, uptempo anthem—produced by OmArr and Lexoskeleton—captures the fun, confident spirit of summer. Directed by Conor Cunningham, the playful music video adds even more charm to the track’s infectious appeal.

“Pretty Girls” is the latest release from Smith’s first studio album in 20 years, Based on a True Story. The album includes collaborations with DJ Jazzy Jeff, Teyana Taylor, and Jac Ross and has produced several standout singles, including “You Can Make It,” which recently hit No.1 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart.

Smith’s performance of “You Can Make It” at the 2024 BET Awards was a viral moment. Surrounded by flames in a fire pit, he delivered the song with emotional weight and conviction—marking a strong return to form.

Smith’s reentry into music is matched with live plans. The Based on a True Story Summer Tour marks his first headlining run and will span cities across Europe, the UK, and Morocco. The tour kicks off in Hamburg on July 13 and includes festival appearances at Mawazine, POSITIV, Dreambeach, and BIG ART.

With “Pretty Girls” adding a dose of sunshine to playlists and global tour dates on the calendar, Will Smith is stepping into summer ready to connect, perform, and celebrate a new chapter.
