Will Swinton’s latest single, “Hold You Again,” delivers moody folk rock ahead of his December EP, out Dec. 13.

Rising New Zealand artist Will Swinton has released his gripping new single, “Hold You Again,” via 10K Projects/Capitol Records. This dark and driving track fuses folk-rock melodies with Western-inspired grit, serving as a bold preview of his upcoming EP, December, due on December 13.

“Hold You Again” opens with powerful strumming and thundering percussion, creating a restless, galloping rhythm that reflects its themes of heartbreak and determination. The song explores Swinton’s journey of accountability and longing: “Maybe it’s what I deserve, for all the lies and all the hurt, but I still gotta try / ’Cause right now more than ever, I just wanna be forever in your eyes.”

The track is paired with a minimalist live-recorded performance video directed by Brandon Chen. The video underscores the song’s raw emotional intensity, continuing a series that includes Swinton’s earlier releases, “Where I Belong” and “Walls.” These tracks earned notable recognition, with “Walls” featured in Rolling Stone’s Songs You Need to Know and ET’s New Music Friday.

Swinton’s previous single, “Flames,” reached #9 on the Hot 20 NZ singles chart, showcasing his growing presence in the music scene. With “Hold You Again,” he continues to captivate audiences with his evocative sound and storytelling.

Stream “Hold You Again” now and pre-save December ahead of its December 13 release.
