Cian Ducrot Inspires with Soulful Single “Shalalala” from Upcoming Album

Cian Ducrot’s “Shalalala” delivers a hopeful message and previews new album “Little Dreaming”.
With his second album Little Dreaming slated for release on July 11, Cian Ducrot introduces his latest single “Shalalala,” a gospel-infused anthem crafted to uplift in times of adversity.
Known for weaving personal truths into mainstream appeal, Ducrot composed “Shalalala” with Anton Göransson, Isabella Sjöstrand, Bill Maybury, and Theo Hutchcraft. He co-produced the track with Göransson, while Sjöstrand contributed to vocal production.
“This song is about hope and solidarity in times where the world feels like it needs it most,” Ducrot states. “It’s about holding our friends, loved ones and strangers close and remembering we are all part of the same world, the same community, the same purpose…”
The single’s soaring arrangement—gospel harmonies, driving percussion, and spirited vocals—captures the emotional uplift central to Ducrot’s musical ethos. “Shalalala” follows the release of “Who’s Making You Feel It” and the title track “Little Dreaming,” rounding out a trio of previews from the upcoming album.
Blending retro musical influences with introspective songwriting, Ducrot’s Little Dreaming is set to explore vulnerability and resilience through a contemporary pop lens.
