Maisy Kay’s latest single is a high-energy reflection on change, closure, and new beginnings in love.

Maisy Kay enters a new phase with her just-released single, “Somebody You Never Touched.” The high-gloss pop anthem arrives as the British-born, LA-based artist gears up for a headline tour beginning this fall.

After drawing attention with her Wonderlust EP series—The Dusk and The Dawn—Maisy turns a new page sonically and thematically. “Somebody You Never Touched” pairs upbeat melodies with lyrics exploring transformation and detachment.

Maisy reveals the song’s inspiration:
“Somebody You Never Touched is based off of the concept that every 7 years, your skin cells completely renew…It’s a fun song about renewal and transformation, about moving on both mentally and physically!”

That lyrical core—that change is both inevitable and empowering—resonates strongly with listeners navigating their own emotional timelines. The seven-year idea becomes a symbol of how completely someone can evolve after heartbreak.

Crafted with producer Mike Avenaim, the track maintains an infectious rhythm while delivering a deeper emotional payoff. The soundscape feels tailor-made for summer playlists and emotional resets alike.

Her tour kicks off in Los Angeles on September 18, and the pop singer has hinted at a major shift in her stage show:
“This show, nay, experience, will be nothing like I’ve ever done before.”
