Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Maren Morris surprises fans with the deluxe edition of D R E A M S I C L E, featuring four new tracks. Out now via Columbia Records, the expanded album builds on the original’s narrative of empowerment and emotional release.
Maren shared how the new tracks emerged:
“I thought I was done writing for a bit once Dreamsicle was turned in, but in one week we got a flurry of new songs in the studio that I couldn’t keep contained,” says Maren. “they still felt like they existed within the Dreamsicle universe, so voila! I can’t even pick a favorite because they all deserve their own moment. enjoy a little extra summertime with these four…”
“be a bitch” led the new additions, arriving last Friday with bold lyrics and unapologetic energy. “running” follows with upbeat production and lyrics about self-liberation, while “in love with me” provides a dreamy contrast.
Closing track “earth angel” offers a feeling of connection and serenity, bringing the expanded album to a gentle but impactful close.
As this new phase unfolds, Maren hits the road for The D R E A M S I C L E Tour, spanning 50+ dates across the US, Europe and the UK.
