Moneybagg Yo drops “Close the Door,” a real-life anthem with visuals premiering on BET and Times Square.

Moneybagg Yo opens 2025 with an introspective new single, “Close the Door,” out now via CMG/N-Less/Interscope. The track goes deep into the emotional layers of his journey—from street fame to industry stardom—and comes with a visually striking music video that premiered on BET Jams, BET Hip Hop, and Times Square’s massive Paramount billboards.

Bagg gets honest, rapping: “I done ran through bout 2 or 3 million and I spent it all on drank. They told me go hard or go home, I switched the rules and went hard in the paint.”

The single follows the success of his album SPEAK NOW and its deluxe, SPEAK NOW OR…, which saw the Memphis artist flex across 29 tracks. From turning up with Rob49 on “BUSSIN” to genre-bending collabs with Morgan Wallen and Chris Brown, Bagg showed he’s not afraid to expand his lane.

His past year was packed with milestones: his 10th Top 20 Billboard 200 entry, a deluxe project packed with A-list features like Lil Durk, GloRilla, and YTB Fatt, and momentum from 2023’s Hard to Love and CMG’s collective drops.

If you’ve followed Bagg since the Federal mixtape days, “Close the Door” is another chapter in his book—raw, unfiltered, and built for real ones.
