ROXEN Drops “Save You (Play & Pretend)” – A Dark Club Anthem with Real Emotion

Romanian pop star ROXEN flips “Save You” into a moody dancefloor banger. “Play & Pretend” is out now.

ROXEN is back with an alternative electronic version of her heartfelt single “Save You,” and this time, she’s turning up the intensity. Titled “Save You (Play & Pretend),” the new version swaps acoustic vulnerability for pulsing beats and shadowy synths—while keeping the raw emotion intact.

Known for her ethereal voice and genre-fluid sound, ROXEN explains that the track comes from a deeply personal space: “The song was written in Vienna when I was navigating this period of my life when I used to love without limits. Seeing that it hurt me, I realized that the only person capable of helping me break my bad habits is just me.”

The “Play & Pretend” remix lets ROXEN’s vocals float above a dark electronic groove that wouldn’t feel out of place in Berlin at 3 a.m. It’s a new flavor for the Romanian artist—and one that fans are already embracing.
