LA pop-country trio Trousdale releases “Growing Pains”, exploring the highs and lows of emotional transformation.

Trousdale, the magnetic Los Angeles trio known for their lush harmonies and genre-blending sound, has released their sophomore album Growing Pains via Independent Co. Across 12 tracks, the trio of Quinn D’Andrea, Georgia Greene, and Lauren Jones explore the hard-won lessons that come from life’s in-between moments.

The trio likens the emotional weight of this record to the physical ache of childhood growth spurts — uncomfortable, inevitable, and transformational. “We’ve been thinking a lot about the tension that comes with change — wanting it, fighting it, embracing it,” says Jones. “But learning to thrive in that moment.”

“From what was, something new can always grow,” adds D’Andrea.

With songwriting contributions from Mags Duval and Lawrence Rothman and co-production by John Mark Nelson, Growing Pains leans into a more grounded, live-band energy. Trousdale recorded much of the album live in the studio, resulting in a cohesive, organic feel that elevates their already unmistakable chemistry.

“Making Growing Pains has been a journey of growth and reinvention,” the group shares. “We wanted to work smarter, not harder, and allow the process to be joyful and collaborative. It reminded us that asking for help can make all the difference.”

Whether they’re embracing heartbreak, personal doubt, or the bittersweet nature of transformation, Trousdale brings honesty and hope to every line. Growing Pains is a love letter to growth — and the discomfort that comes with it.
