Wolf Alice Announce New Album “The Clearing” + Their Biggest Headline Tour Yet
“The Clearing” arrives August 29. Wolf Alice hit the road with 20+ North American dates.
GRAMMY®-nominated and Mercury Prize-winning band Wolf Alice are back with The Clearing, their fourth album arriving August 29, and their biggest headline tour to date. The 20-show North American leg kicks off September 10 in Atlanta, with stops across the East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast, ending at The Wiltern in LA.
The tour announcement coincides with their first single in three years, “Bloom Baby Bloom,” a bold return that redefines the band’s rock aesthetic. “I wanted to focus on my voice as a rock instrument,” explains Ellie Rowsell, “and reach a point where I don’t feel like I need to prove that I’m a musician.”
The track’s cinematic video, directed by Colin Solal Cardo and choreographed by Ryan Heffington, takes inspiration from All That Jazz and offers a fresh perspective on performance culture.
Wolf Alice will warm up for the tour with appearances at Glastonbury and Radio 1’s Big Weekend before launching into a global tour stretching into December.
