Dublin’s rising stars Inhaler have shared their latest single, “A Question Of You,” ahead of the release of their third album, Open Wide, available February 7th via Geffen Records. Following recent tracks “Your House” and “Open Wide,” this new single further showcases the band’s bold evolution as they refine their sound and take it in fresh directions.
Frontman Elijah Hewson reflects on the meaning behind the song: “This is love song territory for me, about how in order to be honest with someone else you’ve got to be honest with yourself, like, ‘I’ve gotta sort my own shit out so I can be around other people.’ It’s also a soulmates thing. The choir really changed everything on this one.”
Produced by Kid Harpoon at London’s iconic RAK Studios, Open Wide features 13 tracks that blend pop melodies, rock’n’roll energy, and intricate grooves. The band’s influences—including T.Rex, MGMT, Prince, and Depeche Mode—shine through, resulting in a dynamic album that builds on the success of their first two records, It Won’t Always Be Like This and Cuts & Bruises.
The album’s release will coincide with Inhaler’s biggest tour yet, featuring two headline shows at Brixton Academy and a massive 20,000-capacity hometown performance in Dublin this May.
